THE DAY
25 March 1967, Ascot Park, Gardena, California. Fifteen cars laid out in a row and a television crew from ABC standing at the fence. It was the first time Wide World of Sports pointed a camera at him, and after that the whole country knew the name.
Nine months later he would try the fountains at Caesars Palace. Everything that happened afterward started here.

Reproduced from a signed original in the Knievel family's own archive — signature and all. It had never been published before we put it on paper. Made in the United States on thick matte stock.
